Discourses that "persist for generations must be particularly resilient, capable of spreading, propagating, and, most interestingly, capable of defending themselves against attack. If they couldn't, they wouldn't be around anymore" (Nancy Chek, 2009).
What do you see as / where do you see the persistent charity conversation that locks recipients in a cycle of dependency? If we understand the conversations, we have better access to transforming them to one of empowerment.
