I like that he does not think too hard or long about what he is going to say, his truth just comes from the gut.

Just posted (as a Resource) an interesting NPR segment that I came across this morning. Check it out.

That NPR piece that you posted Arash was great. I really like how he admits freely that he told Alaska voters what they wanted to hear, just to win. That's a lot of honesty for a politician.

I put up some Gravel videos in the about section, some great Gravel moments.

Check out this link:
http://www.vajoe.com/candidate_calculator.html

It lists out ~20 issues that you vote yes, no, or unsure on, and you give a high, medium, low ranking of importance on each one, and it tells you which candidate you're best aligned with. I knew that I liked Gravel's values, but I didn't realize how much. I came out at 90% for Gravel. I'd be curious to hear about what others got, if you're comfortable sharing your results.

I only got a 83% for Gravel, but Gravel nonetheless. I think that site is a right-wing ploy to get left-wing voters to think Gravel has a chance so they'll vote for him and split the democratic vote. Everyone who has taken it that I know had Gravel as their nomination of choice. Not that I don't think Gravel is a great candidate.

It simply shows that GRAVEL is the GREATEST like we all knew all along. you conspiracy theorists. I bet you think that JFK was actually shot from the grassy knoll.

What JFK was shot?? When did that happen? :-)

Actually, what I think this poll shows is that if people voted on the issues that are important to them, and not which candidate the press is showing as the frontrunner, then we would have a completely different outcome. The press covers the candidates that raise the most money, and the candidates that raise the most money are the ones that pander to the special interests, and not the ones whose values are in line with most of the voters.

That would be a great application for sites like Facebook, or even WiserEarth, it it allowed external applications. The problem with that pole is that it is lacking some credibility. If a more credible site would copy the pole, or if it had more exposure via a facebook app, then that would be really great.

and JFK totally had it coming.
