It would be very useful if you supported KML and GeoRSS output of the organizations and groups. Especially with OpenSearch-Geo it would be possible for people to subscribe to geographic feeds of organizations in their area - and for other people to easily build mashups on your data, spreading the awareness of groups.

You may be interested in my use of KML. I've written "articles" in KML that use Google Earth as the interface to tell stories of conservation innovators. The articles are posted on a free website at www.spatialinterest.info.

Hey Gespatial - this is very interesting concept that I'm looking into closely. It could become a huge boon for the site, but as we have a very small team of only 2 full time developers, it's just a matter of finding the resources to throw weight behind this feature. But I'm really glad you brought this to my attention, cause it's been requested by many, many users!
