My name is Zach Street and I just heard about this group and am excited to join. I live in Tacoma, WA but have a love for Africa and a desire to see healing and justice. I haven't been since 1999 (Ghana) but hope to return this summer (South Africa) as part (a small part) of the "Myth of the Motherland" Documentary Film project led by Lisa Russell at Governess Films. I will let Lisa and the others know about this group - she will be leading 10 NYC spoken word poets on a twelve country tour in 2008 and it would be wonderful if she and the team could spread the word as they travel through the continent.
Sorry to start a new discussion, my goal was to reply to Nico's post, but didn't see how to do that directly. I look forward to working/connecting with the group.
