It is always helpful to hear how people first came to learn about the discussion courses and to hear your words about what the process meant for them. Can you share any of your experience in a discussion group?

I just finished Volunteer Simplicity.  While I can't rattle a lot of tidbits I learned from the class, it has definitely changed how I look at things.  Here is a prime example:  I attended Green Fest Seattle in April right after I had finished the course.  I hadn't walked too far into the event and I was completely over whelmed and had a lump in my stomach.  I was disgusted to see so many people who were asking me for money in exchange for products under the premise that I was helping save the Earth.  This is entirely backwards!

I know for certain if I would not have just completed my class, I would have felt the awesome energy of masses of people with the common interest in healing our planet.  After some introspection and walking around, I did come to feel this energy but with an understand that consumption wll not heal our planet.

I can't give enough praise for this class and I look forward to going through more of the NWEI curriculum as well as taking this one over again.
