About [Edit]
I'd like to start an open-source database specifically focused on toxics issues affecting Aboriginal Canadians. I work with a researcher who researches and disseminates a vast amount of resources on this topic, but he doesn't have a centralized place to store all the valuable documents he finds. Thus, though documents are being difused through the internet without a way to find them online later.
Anyone have ideas? I see it as a basic database - he (and others) upload documents, assign tags, and later people can search the database to find the info they need.
I'm not a database designer, nor is he. But I assume this wouldnt be hard to develop. I wrote some more ideas about this a few months ago, here: http://fntid.pbwiki.com/
Thanks,
Damien
