Hey, all:

I added some resources dealing with the principle of "The Commons" which is an ancient principle of communally, publicly owned resources of many kinds. Reasons for adding these resources includes the fact that the Commons are under threat from many sources, and there is a connection between Commons, energy and Carbon use for energy, and the effort to promote agrofuels. Carbon extraction often means Oil, Gas, and Coal companies damaging the Commons, from the Arctic ice cap to national parks and refuges worldwide. The same activities cause severe impacts to one of MOST important forms of Commons--Air and Water. Agrofuels cause impacts due to conversion of wildlife habitat to marginal farmland which would be under such pressure without the interest in agrofuels. Many millions of acres and hectares of forest held in Commons are cleared for production of agrofuel oils.

Knowing about the Commons and protecting them is vital to the goals WE shares.
