There is some simple customization allowed but anything complex would have to be coded. Let's discuss on phone.

Following up on my earlier post:
Adena has also been involved in prior work on participatory budget and sustainability indicators work (see for instance http://louisvillepeoplesagenda.blogspot.com/ (corrected)). We are interested in the potential for the WiserEarth Solutions approach to evolve into or supplement online collaborative sustainability indicators and performance measures for participatory budgeting and governance initiatives, particularly as they might inform and emerge from the Green Convene proceess. Suggestions and direction to practically engage this would be welcome.
For instance, can our review group formulate questions so that municipal budget calculations can be included?
Is it possible to introduce tables and / or spreadsheets in the Solutions Dashboard?
Can these tables or spreadsheets be embedded as templates so that so that we can have common fields and calculations for Solutions submissions?
We'd like to introduce sustainability indicators into the submission and review process, not only for particular sustainability indicators but for co-dependent variables in the construction of genuine sustainability metricss capable of indicating social, ecological and economic outcomes, as suggested, for instance, in Maureen Hart's work ( www.sustainablemeasures.com).
In that case, the ability to calculate and construct multivariate sustainability indicators and to visually represent the interaction of multiple Solutions sustainability impacts could be valuable. Is there a way in place or imagined to do this now in WE? Any external source you might suggest?
And then of course we'd like to use those measures for performance based budgeting and participatory management and similar applications.
It is not clear to me that WiserEarth is looking to support this sort of effort, but I am hopeful that you may have some of these resources in place, and that WiserEarth can be a component in developing these participatory sustainable community development tools and processes.
Thanks!
