hallo! had a moment to start getting back to work and this came through. This "out of scope" issue is hard given the very open framework of WE and the acknowledgment in various places that:
for-profit and also have additional characteristics (based on their mission statement) for overcoming inequality and environmental harm.
So, with that in mind, I think that the I conjure candles page is more of an add with only a minimal tie-in to sustainability or any other cohesive "additional characteristic" for overcoming inequality. I don't have access to a mission statement, but only a general philosophy that is greatly tied to advertising.
Also, after looking at the companion listings for for-profits in the Ecological Economics area of focus, this just seems a very week candidate for inclusion. I may not know exactly how to define out of scope, but this would be an example of it by looking at it (IMO).
Those are my thoughts. ~heather |

Hiya h!!! Good to see you back!
Thanks for the thoughts. I suppose so then. More an advertisement. Marking it "out of scope" so it will no longer be listed publicly and show up in search results.
Another one: http://www.wiserearth.org/organization/view/812c045c1d802b22848d5e486b4ac0f7/ There's also a group by the same name: http://www.wiserearth.org/group/W911Truth
Looks more about politics than about "overcoming inequality or environmental harm". Marking it "in discussion". Anyone have any thoughts on this one? |

On the 9/11 Group ... don't really see how this fits in with social justice or environment. Peace angle maybe as this site is about uncovering the truth around a terrorist event. Still I would vote for removing both. Anyone else?

It appears that the goal is to get people signing their petition on their website. Should we advise to create a resource page instead? That looks acceptable as resource pages seems more flexible in terms of scope / allowable content.

I was thinking that this is "out of scope", but wanted to get a second or third opinion.

(temporarily marking it "in discussion").
Any thoughts?
