Hi Sheri,
Perhaps we should re-work the design, as you can actually view your old sent messages...when you go to your inbox, there is a "Sent Messages" link. Usually, in other e-mail/messaging applications, one has the ability to view their sent messages when hit "reply" but WE doesn't have that capability yet. Your best bet to work around the system is to copy and paste your sent messages onto your reply message, so that you and your message recipients can be refreshed on your conversation. Hope this helps. |

Probably a good idea is to mimic the way Gmail is threading their emails. If the subject/title remains unchanged/unmodified, Gmail automatically chains the back and forth emails between two or more people in a chronological order (like instant messaging chat window). In other words, incoming and sent messages for a topic is grouped in a single thread which can be accessed through a single hyperlink of the thread's subject/title.
This would facilitate copy-pasting the whole thread into a dedicated discussion forum more easily, or to just simply make the process of reviewing conversations on a subject much easier. |

i'd love to see the ability to track our private emails by having the emails we send somehow saved. for instance, john coates and i have been going back and forth in some pretty juicy conversations via WE not email and we've both noticed, gee, it would be great to capture some of that...as in having sent emails saved or some other way of tracking them. it's not always necessary, but when a conversation seed starts to sprout into something that will then have germination power in other forums, it's worth keeping and saving and nourishing :)))
thanks!!
