Group: "Transition Cotati" - The picture is titled “Petals, Toil and Business at Dadar’s Phulgalli”. The picture doesn’t really have anything to do directly with the group, which has to do with “engaging communities to come together and face the challenges of peak oil and climate change”. But I didn’t felt that mattered. It looked neutral enough for the colors to be symbolic of some other goods that could be exchanged in a healthy peak-oil transitioning economy. Also, this picture complemented the pictures next to it.

Top: I’m not sure what kind of starfish this is, but the title of the picture is “The beauty breeze is the star…”. After having a discussion with a someone who loves aquariums, I realized the homepage pictures so far haven’t included animals, so I decided today would be a change. After all, most of the planet is water. I found this picture of a floating seastar, which looks like its dancing, and stretching itself out there for the world to see, willing to shake hands ...or even network.
