any new idea will have its own dynamic after it has reached the critical mass. I have had so many ideas and propsals for big changes, but those did not have the ciritcal mass. That what I am looking for here: http://internettime.ning.com/profiles/blog/show?id=656824%3ABlogPost%3A17849
I am quite sure these guyes are using this term in their Frame-WOrk http://spiraldynamics.net/
MichaelK, as u know to have the mass, does not mean to deliver. So u can have a group of 100 or a Forum with 50 Member, but only 3 are active .. Thats why I think it make more sence to be more accurate and use "Tipping Point"
What would you call the case of "hollow community" ? |

Hay folks,
I will tell you we have to go full critical mass when it comes to our world’s socio-economic affairs and the reprioritization of our resources as those resources are applied to the greater population of the world, it's time. I believe that the tipping point that you are referring to is 11 percent of the population is all that is needed to redirect social flow.

we need global synergy instead of critical mass. If we check the ammount of involved mass within global movement, it is high enough once it creates the requiered synergy.

- Critical mass is a sociodynamic term to describe the existence of sufficient momentum
in a social system such that the momentum becomes self-sustaining and
fuels further growth. As a simple example, consider a big city. When
one person stops and
looks at the sky, nothing will happen. The other people will go after
their own business. When three people stop and look up the sky, perhaps
some people will turn around, then go along. But there's only a small
number (which depends on the culture, the daytime, the width of the
street and other factors) of people needed -- say, 5 or 7 --, that make
other ones stop and look at the sky, too. This number is called
"Critical mass" or Tipping Point."
I don't know about you all, but I'm glad we haven't reached critical mass yet. Thoughts?
