Hello All,

For those of you wanting to plug into The Iowa Climate Caucus and help it to become the high profile event that it looks like it will be, start here.

Actions:
-Finalize paperwork on Pentacrest
-Rent/Borrow: tables, microphones, speakers, other rally infrastructure
-Administrative assistance to any candidates in attendance
-And of course INVITES to the candidates, we need to flood the phones and mailboxes of the candidates, and make personal stops into the campaign HQs in Iowa City, lets put on the pressure! Kucinich and McCain have committed to attending a step it up event, lets make sure its ours, and lets get some other ones there too, no reason hillary and obama can't be there
-Distribute fliers, pamphlets, hang posters, make announcements in your classes, get professors involved
-Approach local businesses to see if they will sponsor the event, we might incur some fees for rental equipment and I'm sure none of us are independently wealthy, perhaps they will be willing to cover fees incurred, of course we'd prefer to partner with local/responsible businesses

contact myself or robert if you have questions, lets get the politicians to Step It Up
