Hey Bret,
That's because for one of the pages, the text "missing navigation menu" is only in the comments. The search indexer doesn't take into account the text on comments - not sure if we would be able to include that as part of the search, but something we can look into. |

Should I make an official suggestion for that?

Sure thing, though we have been exploring using other search engines that are less complex to set up than our current open source engine (Mnogo Search). One of the search alternatives we're heavily exploring is Sphinx, which is used by Craigslist among others, and has garnered some very good reviews from the developer community. Make the suggestion anyways just so we had a record of it to keep tally of the problems we want addressed, and if we do switch, I'll see if using Sphinx alleviates issues like this.

When I search for the text "missing navigation menu" (without the quotes) from the Suggestions group page, the search results only shows one page, but there are at least two pages with this text:
Only the second page show up for me in the search results.
(I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.15 on Windows XP.)
