The content is superb, I see  strongly favorable reactions at each showing. Looking for more opportunities to show the films. Churches and community groups would seem to be the appropriate venue.

 

The followup is all but invisible. That may because the effects are largely internal. On the other hand, it may be I don't have a sufficient grasp of the principles and practices of community organization.

 

Thus, I welcome counsel on spreading the message locally.

nk you for your comments. I think we are all discovering together what this awakening means for us, individually and collectively. And it is important to inspire each other and lend each other strength along the way.

I don't have specific suggestions for you about how to bring your community together around this content. But here is a recent example of how people are using the films in their communities:

A woman who lives in New York City is launching a community-building platform, which will include monthly gatherings, a blog and a podcast. She will be screening films from the Global Oneness Project at the initial gathering. You can read more about it here.


The Global Oneness Project team will also be hosting film events in May 2009 in the Pacific Northwest. We will be inviting community leaders, students, and non-profits to watch the films and talk about what the films inspire in them, and then we'll use Wiser Earth as a way to connect the audiences to people and resources across the region after the events are over. You can check out the Event Series here. Maybe you'd like to organize something similar on the East Coast?
