Please ask for help if it feel at all intimidating.

WiserEarth is commercial free and is operated in harmony with the permaculture ethics.

There are basically two approaches to using WiserEarth (a bit oversimplified):

1. Passively - Receive emails to your regular email address when there is content changes on WiserEarth that you might want to check out

2. Actively - log in and check the WiserEarth page of interest regularly to monitor content changes.

In order to do #1, you will need to add itmes of interest to your "watchlist"  look for check boxes that you can check that add items to your watchlist.  When someone responds to a discussion post or adds a resource of interest or comments/edits your wiki/blog post you will get a detailed email to your inbox, just like as if it where a common listserve....

Again, please ask questions if you need any help!

Thanks!
