This part of the installation represents people from various cultures coming together. There were another two branches, red-yellow-black hands (representing Australia's Aboriginal people) and green-blue-white hands (representing Torres Strait Islander people). The three branches met in the centre of the installation in a swirl of colour to symbolise all people coming together.
