These are the summary findings from surveying the food desert of San Francisco, Bayview Hunters Point which was at one time, the food bowl of the city.  The South East Food Access working group (SEFA), a part of the Mayor's Shape Up coalition of community organizations and city agencies, conducted the survey and is working creatively to address the food injustice.
