A water vending kiosk (at the Egmore railway station, Chennai, India, Dec 2007).
No more reason to buy plastic bottles of water because we're unsure of the tap water. With a water vending kiosk that's certified, you even save money, 50% to be exact at this kiosk for a liter. Note the "No celebirty endorsements" sign on the kiosk! They mean business at Ion Exchange India Limited. I know; I worked there. We provided the technologies for purifying water, reclaiming wastewater, improving efficiency in power generation, desalination plants and more.
Note the reuse of the blue 35-gallon edible oil drum for a waste basket. This was seen in every railway platform in many stations.
