Pachamama is what they call the mama earth in South America.  She is very loved by this name there, as I have experienced in different parts of the world when I sing this song and someone in the audience is from South American and they get really excited and yell, Pachamama!  I was also inspired to write this as a vehicle to connect in realness to the earth and to each other as humans and to find peace and health there, to stop the wars and find love and beauty there.
