Help support a library of ground breaking ideas towards social change in the next year.

We have accomplished much over the last months and are excited about developing in the new year. Never has the time been better to harness and develop green and environmentally smart products and designs. We're happy to hear the recent announcement by GE to release the electric automobile by 2010.  Of course, this release will be limited to government agencies, yet this signifies how the impetus for change is still largely in our hands. 

 
First we want to thank you for all of your support and referrals over the course of our first year. We are excited to announce today our first annual fund drive. 

This is a invitation, asking you to pledge your support for NewWays,  a community catalyst for change.  Your financial support helps in meeting the cost of hosting and managing to better serve those developing ideas and those seeking ideas. We started NewWays because we love this idea and think, with your help, it can bring great changes to our communities.  Meeting this funding challenge helps us continue this important work.  Here's a little background on how we NewWays came about. 

In the spring of 2007 we came up with a rather simple, yet innovative idea. What if you and I, and the entire public had unlimited access to a wealth of ideas for changing the statuesque of “business as usual.” What if those old outmoded technologies where to be replaced with modern, savvy technological means with the well being of our health, economy, and the planet in mind? And what if simple ideas supportive of basic human rights, fair wages, more affordable health care, a clean environment, and a balanced economy could have a platform for developing into action. And then last but not least, what if these innovative ideas supportive of green/progressive change could be in the easy reach of professionals in various fields as NGO’s, non-profits, foundations, entrepreneurs, and companies that have the resources or finances to implement such an idea. Perhaps it will be the posting of your groundbreaking idea that contributes to the change you want to see. Or maybe there is an idea that you may want to act on within your own community. This is exactly how NewWays Community serves the greater public, and how the greater public can live up to the challenges of the 21st century. 

We invite you now to pledge what ever you can afford, as we gear-up with improvements in software, while your contribute to the sustainability of our online community presence.  While pay-pal offers a secure and easy access to donations, other methods of contribution are welcome.
