About [Edit]
Sustainable West Seattle First Annual Festival
10am - 3pm -Sunday, May 4, 2008
The Festival will be in the Wells Fargo Parking lot at the Alaska Junction, across the street from (and during) the West Seattle Farmer's Market.
Thousands of participants will come together to explore ideas about how to live more lightly on the earth. We are planning a lively Festival with speakers, community forums, entertainment, and a program that will focus on themes like: Local Foods, Transportation Alternatives, Green Homes, and Climate Change Solutions. Theme tents and exhibitors will offer demonstrations, participatory events, and educational materials.
