About  [Edit]

Join Save The Bay and the Marin Open Space District in our efforts to restore the wetlands and upland habitat at Santa Venetia Marsh on Gallinas Creek in San Rafael, near the Marin Civic Center. Wetland restoration activities change with the seasons and we will continue planting native plants into the wetlands until the winter rains subside. Later in the spring and early summer we will focus our efforts on removing non-native plants like fennel, mustard, pepperweed and thistle. RSVP requested.
