About  [Edit]

Join  Progressive Democrats of Marin and Marin Peace in Mill Valley's annual Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 25th. This year, the parade, which annually attracts participants from towns across Marin and is a major event for townspeople, focuses on the the renaissance of community. The organizational theme, "Yes We Will"  focuses on embracing and keeping alive small town values, supporting neighbors, local businesses and schools  during these difficult times and remembering our nation's veterans.

PDA participants are hoping to march with banners expressing their support of the Transition Towns model for sustainable community development in Mill Valley:

“PD-Marin Supports Transition Marin (or Transition Mill Valley) - - the community response to peak oil and climate change.”
