Look up and See Green is a student driven, collaborative initiative to
lead the Portland Metropolitan Region in sustainability. Last year,
this project created a sustainable community gathering place on the
4th floor of Urban Center by bringing together student groups to implement ideas
of rainwater collection strategies, utilization of our rooftops for
growing food and a university wide discussion on sustainability
initiatives. The Look Up and See Green team would like to invite the
campus community to the terrace for an open house where we will be
compiling ideas for the 2009-10 projects. The celebration will have
music and food so be sure to drop by!
