"Music with ancient roots and new Spring shoots"
Diana Halter -- Originating from the prairies via the Sunshine Coast, Diana is a multi-instrumentalist of Celtic heritage who brings her love of music to PIPE LINE TO BURMA. Over the last 8 years Diana and her Clarsach harp have performed solo and in session with various coast artists, giving her audiences the joyful sounds of traditional and contemporary music from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, England, and Brittany. The magic of Diana Halter and her harp is exciting, and on many summer evenings she creates beautiful music that floats out over the harbour into the town of Gibson’s.
Fabrizio
Alberico
-- has
been deeply involved with the acoustic guitar for two decades now as a writer
and performer, and as a luthier since 1998. His musical interests took a
deliberate turn shortly after moving to Vancouver in 1993, when he became aware
of the "finger style" method of guitar playing. He went about
refining his guitar skills in that method, and began writing his own vocal and
instrumental music. In 1998, he took a guitar making apprenticeship, and
opened his own shop shortly thereafter. In the following decade he has
established himself as one of the most respected builders of acoustic guitars
in North America, currently building from his home in Gibson’s, BC. He
continues to write and perform regularly on his own and with several musical
friends on the Sunshine Coast, including Diana Halter and Eric Norman.
