On September 23, the Peace Flag Project will be sponsoring an event with the American Friends Service Committee  (SENE) to celebrate the United Nation's International Day of Peace. The event will be held on Sunday, September 23 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the Davey Lopes Rec Center Park.  The first hour will be flag making and other activities for adults and children. Then a Peace Day Ceremony begins at 4:00. We will have a silent Walking Meditation and prayers for peace by interfaith clergy. We begin and end with  a moment of silence.
