About
Two-thirds
of Americans are overweight, heart disease is the number one killer of
adult males, cancer and diabetes are on the rise and children spend
more time inside eating processed food and less time in the fresh air exercising.
Southern California’s urban communities are disproportionately affected by chronic
but preventable diseases - a reality Harry Grammer, founder of New
Earth, would like to change by introducing natural and integrative medicine.
Good Medicine features over a dozen natural healing modalities administered by over 100 licensed and accredited practitioners, educational sessions in health and wellness led by experts in the field including bestselling author Byron Katie, sound healing and special musical guests including award-winning composer/recording artist Steven Halpern, and merchandise from dozens of natural products and services vendors so attendees can go green, local and pure to make their dollar count. Good Medicine is a fundraising event supporting New Earth, a 501(c)3 charity. Ticket sales benefit community-based services including outreach programs in high schools, youth detention centers and foster/group homes, plus a community organic garden project.
Tickets range from $35-$65 are 100% tax deductible. For more information or to purchase tickets: www.thegoodmedicine.org.
Wiser Earth members save 10% using discount code 312, and the organization will plant a tree for every ticket sold online.
