Advanced Permaculture Design
As peak oil sets in and climate change brings on unprecedented natural disasters, we are seeing more clearly our dependency on a fragile centralized system.
This incredible two-day training brings together permaculture design skills, leadership training, alternative energy technology, and practical medical training to provide the most cutting edge and integrated approach to respond to the climatic transitions we face today.
Geared towards those who already have experince with the basics of Permaculture this course will get into specific of preparing and responding to natural and social catastophes.
Participants will get hands-on experince in multiple design scenerios and in applied learning modalities.
Come learn the skills to help build a lifeboat for your community… remember, it’s a small world after oil.

Instructors:
Benjamin Fahrer
is
a Permaculture designer, educator, activist and farmer, he has been
working with a diversity of frontline organizations and non-profits
throughout Northern California teaching and promoting ecological design
and responsible land stewardship for the last 10 years. He sits on the
advisor Board of The Urban Permaculture Guild and is a registered
teacher in Permaculture Design from the Permaculture Research Institute
in Australia. Currently he is a Land Steward, on the coastal bluffs of
Big Sur in Central California and is working with communities on
creating regenerative solutions for local food security.
Katherine Steele
Katherine Steele is a permaculture activist, designer and educator. She
facilitates workshops on natural building and permaculture and is the
founder of the Urban Permaculture Guild in Oakland, CA.
