About

Is Green Building Sustainable?

Hear from David Eisenberg, Internationally Acclaimed Ecological Building Advocate

WHAT:   Forum and Panel on "Green Building and Beyond" with Local, National, and International Authors and Leaders

David Eisenberg, the keynote speaker, will focus on how a new dialog is needed to create a regulatory system that is as comprehensive in balancing risk and innovation as the leading edge projects that are being planned and designed.  "Faced with the realities of a lower-carbon future and growing concerns about the supply of critical resources, we need to look beyond the old assumptions," says Eisenberg.

The keynote speaker will be followed by a panel discussion including an impressive lineup:

.                  Brandy Gallagher, founder and developer of O.U.R. ECOVILLAGE

.                  Paula Baker-Laporte, FAIA author of "Prescriptions for a Healthy Home"

.                  Robert Laporte, Natural Builder, co-founder and steward of the EcoNest Company

.                  Jim MacDonald, CBO Director of Building and Safety for the County of Ventura

.                  Brenden McEneaney, Green Building Program Advisor for the City of Santa Monica
