About [Edit]
The “English for Life” (EFL) program is a youth education program designed to provide both HIV/AIDS education and prevention and English language training for Thai secondary school teachers and students.
The student workshops are designed to provide clear and accurate information regarding HIV/AIDS, STI’s, transmission and prevention in a way that is relevant and meaningful to students. We also strive to create a safe and comfortable environment for young people to communicate with their peers and adults about sexuality and HIV/AIDS and empower students to become peer educators within their schools.
The teacher training workshops are designed to provide training and support for teachers to effectively and sustainably promote HIV/AIDS education and prevention, sexual health and English language skills within schools. We try to familiarize teachers with different ways to engage youth in educational activities and increase their comfort level of talking about these sensitive issues.
