This event is part of the Community Weaving Chicago Initiative spearheaded by a group of community members and organizations who are weaving people together by hosting Community Weaving Experiences in Chicago.  These events offer people the opportunity to connect to one another and begin solving problems impacting their lives, organizations and communities. Families are suffering and neighbors are networking to help one another and preparing to respond to natural or man-made disasters! We live in uncertain time. Good Neighbors pool resources, form Family Support Networks, organize recreational activites and workshops, spearhead special initiatives and lend a helping hand to neighbors in need. Local agencies have partnered in the effort to help weave people together so they can help themselves and others! If you want to start a community garden, a clothing exchange or food coop don't miss this event. As a Good Neighbor you'll be connected to mechanics, lawyers, mediators, facilitators, gardeners, plumbers, truck drivers, employers, babysitters, room mates and new friends! Come grab a bite to eat and be a part of the Community Weaving Chicago Experience. It's time to weave yourself into community!
