Is this Workshop for You?

•    Do you find yourself having a difficult time communicating with your teenager?
•    Are you having difficulty talking with your co-parent or spouse about raising your children?
•    Are you feeling frustrated in getting the cooperation of your child in doing chores or other tasks?
•    Do you find arguing with your child(ren) wears you out?
•    Are you wanting to reduce the amount of conflict and sibling rivalry occurring between your children at home?
•    Are you wanting clear financial agreements and more responsibility on the part of your adult or near-adult child who may still be living at home?
•    Parenting is a 24/7 job!  Are you meeting your own needs as a parent for rest, self-nurturance and support?
•    Are you a grandparent wanting to talk with your child honestly about any concerns you might have about how they are raising your grandchild?

If you answer yes to any of these questions, this workshop is for you!

Continued next side

Any number of topics and concerns that deal with family relationships, that are  “alive” for the group that day, will be covered. This lively class will use improvisational theatre, role-playing, Empathy Poker and physical games that emphasize cooperation, connection, skill building and fun.

In this class, you will learn how to:

•    Listen to your kids’ underlying needs and how to respond empathically.
•    Listen to your own needs and be able to communicate them more easily.
•    Create win-win agreements with your children, co-parent or spouse.

You may enjoy swimming in the pool, strolling in the gardens or taking a hot tub during the break. Bring your own towel, swimsuit, lunch and…come, have fun!
