About  [Edit]

Step It Up 2007 is a grassroots campaign organized by people all around the country who are concerned about gloabl climate change. The campaign is asking our leaders to step it up and take action on the issue. The goal of Step It Up is to empower the grassroots climate movement to take serious action locally in places all over the country and call for change on a national level.

The Step It Up headquarters, which is located in Manchester, New Hampshire and hosts a variety of public events including movies, music, and meetings, is in charge of coordinating all of the national events by providing support and offering start up advice and literature for anyone interested in starting a movement in their region or town.

Because global climate change effects everyone and everything on the planet it does not associate with any particular political party or campaign.

The event in Keene, NH will consists of a solar powered rally in central square, a free concert by "A Company Green", and speakers including Granny D and Professor of the Environmental and Advocacy program at Antioch Universtiy New England, Steven Chase! You can check out the tables where you can sign petitions and get info on renewable energy options, tips on reducing your personal carbon footprint, and upcoming legislation and information on candidates and where they stand on environmental issues and global climate change.

It will be located at 39 Central Square in downtown Keene, NH.
