About  [Edit]

To celebrate the first-ever Carbon Offset Day, EarthCorps will lead volunteers at seven sites throughout the greater Seattle area. Volunteers will plant trees in parks, receive education and resources to plant their own yards, and learn about other ways to offset their carbon emissions. Governor Christine Gregoire will proclaim November 10 statewide as Carbon Offset Day.

Join other Earth Ministry volunteers at Hitt's Hill Park in the Columbia City neighborhood of Seattle and help restore a piece of urban forest to a healthier state—put your faith into action! We will gather for prayer and reflection before and after the tree-planting & restoration project.

Sign up by calling the Earth Ministry office at (206) 632-2426 or e-mailing emoffice@earthministry.org.  Once registered, you will receive information about carpooling opportunities and directions to the worksite.
