About

Do you ever wonder who grows your morning coffee?

Join us in learning more about the trade of one of Seattle's favorite caffeinated beverages and how a unique partnership brings bikes and coffee together in order to ensure the well-being of those who grow it.

Clara Seasholtz, Executive Director of Bikes to Rwanda, will speak about economic development in developing countries and how Bikes to Rwanda works to improve the quality of life for those living in co-operative coffee farming communities in Rwanda.

A representative of Stumptown Coffee Roasters will speak about direct trade vs. fair trade and how Stumptown works to provide those growing their coffee with more than just fair trade prices.

There will also be:

Free Stumptown Coffee Tasting
Free Mighty O Donuts
Raffle for Cupcake Royale Gift Cards
Free Home Energy and Water Conservation Devices

This Event is Free!

(Donations Encouraged)
This event has been made possible by: Bikes to Rwanda, Stumptown Coffee, Northwest Environmental Education Council, Phinney Neighborhood Association, Cupcake Royale, Mighty O Donuts, Seattle Art Museum
