THE DREAMERY ACTIVATION WILL LAUNCH IT ALL...
Wed 7/16 l 6-10pm l Sebastopol Youth Annex 425 Morris St.
The DREAMERY will serve a collective of farmers, healers, artisans, educators, performers, entrepreneurs, producers, designers, families etc. who want to share resources for maximum prosperity!
The evening will include:
Delicious Appetizers from 6 to 6:30,
Presentations and Interactive Break-outs from 6:30 to 9:00
"Serendipity Circus" from 9-10 with music, dancing and celebration
Participants will get more information about the Dreamery, how it will help our community to be sustainable, what it will be like, and how it is possible to happen here, now. They will also have a chance to share their visions and needs that could be realized in this container, and find out ways to offer support either by spreading the word or taking on some kind of role in its development-- as a villager, renter, sponsor and/or investor.
The evening will be hosted by Lauren Quinn Thomas, a visionary leader cultivating regenerative models enabling communities to be MORE THAN SUSTAINABLE through systems that create reciprocal benefits. Lauren has supported the development of dozens of efforts that relate to this aim, including work with the Livability Project and Gaia University.
Lauren co-founded the EcoVision Sebastopol coalition in 2006 to advocate and instill the vision for a "sustainable specific plan" for the Northeast Area of Sebastopol to encourage the development of a downtown ecovillage in an environmentally sensitive redevelopment area. While she continues to be an advocate in the political realm, Lauren's focus is on broad-based community engagement, believing that solutions will actualize through "market forces" and that WE CAN ACTUALIZE OUR DREAMS TOGETHER!
