Looking for urban/suburban permaculture pioneers!

This meeting is to begin brainstorming for those around Sacramento who wish to discuss ideas, design, create, share, contribute, exchange seeds, build, etc - permaculture projects or programs for the area.

Whether you have the heirloom tomato seeds cultivated by your great grandmother, the other twenty seeds in the packet of thirty you bought at the supermarket, or just your curiosity, come share and receive!

People new to permaculture and gardening welcome!

Please come open to discuss...

* Is there interest/willingness for folks to lead mini-workshops on their sustainability areas of experience and knowledge? i.e. vermacompost or canning

* Is there Interest in a group subscription to the magazine, "The Permaculture Activist", ($99 for 10 subscriptions sent to one address). We could commit to having quarterly meetings or events and picking up our magazines there.

* Is there interest in scheduling work parties in each others gardens and yards on different sustainability projects?

* What is the best way to stay in contact with each other ? Should we start a new list serve to organize permaculture events, etc.? Possibly a separate discussion list serve for folks who want to post articles, links and thoughts.
