About [Edit]
This Year the Black Dollars Day Task Force (BDDTF) Community Annual Walk is even more important to all of us including small businesses.
Black Dollar Task Force has leased 24 acres of land in Duvall, WA. Our goal is to raise non-chemical produce and have a Farmer's Market in the Central Area right across from New Hope B. C. We are planting all kinds of greens (Turnips, Mustards, Collards and Cabbages) for our first crop. We needs your help to make this Farm & Market a great success. Everyone will be able to buy non-chemical produce for a reasonable price and eat healthy.
This project has already created jobs and great volunteer participation but we need more financial support. Proceeds from this walk will greatly benefit this project.
There will be a Free Picnic with plenty of food at the end of the Walk (for everyone that walks) at Pratt Park 20th & Yesler. See attached Flyer.
Walk is August 9, 2008. It is approximate 2 miles.
Starts at 124 - 21st Ave. Ends at Pratt Park
Registration Starts at 9:30 AM, Walk starts at 10:00 AM
Coordinator: Karinda Harris - 206.550.3103
