About

Come spend an afternoon with us, and experience an event that many people claim changed their lives. Leave feeling moved, inspired, informed, and empowered

The Awakening the Dreamer – Changing the Dream Symposium examines the assumptions that underlie the way we see the world and our place in it.  Collectively we live inside a dream; sleepwalking in a trance.  We are living in an outmoded worldview, where unthinkable acts appear reasonable, sensible, and even intelligent.  There is the possibility of a better way - a truly sustainable world.  This Symposium powerfully and profoundly opens the conversation to make that a reality.

  • Watch video clips featuring philosophers, scientists, and community leaders such as Van Jones, Desmond Tutu, Paul Hawken, Matthew Fox, Lynne Twist, Thomas Berry, Robert Reich, Julia Butterfly Hill, and Drew Dellinger.

  • Engage in conversations of vital importance, i.e. our lifestyles and their global impact.

  • Discover what is at the heart of a massive shift of awareness emerging in communities throughout the world.

Guest Speaker, David Escobar - Born in El Salvador (or the Lenca-Poton Indian nation). David has a long history of advocating for multi-ethnic communities and mobilizing people to speak out for their rights. As  Administrative Aide to Marin County Supervisor Steven Kinsey, he manages special projects for the Fourth District.  www.indian-circle.org
