Dear folks, this was the brief:
Mid BM and Lower BM Working Bee at Maryanne's place - 3 Mount View Avenue Hazelbrook. All welcome to attend - please RSVP to MaryanneBell. Come along for a relaxed and friendly time from 1pm to 3 or 4pm to help (if you can) and learn about:
- planting out the "slot" designed garden bed from Max and Robyn - Linda and her mum and Rory helped;
- using and if interested, purchasing $10 Korean HoMi = hand gardening tool - orders were placed and paid for;
- site design on sloping properties using theodolytes and A-frames - Peter Warth and Gordon;
- building the first course of a retaining wall out of Gardenwall concrete blocks - Pete and maybe my neighbour "the master" will give expert advice - Gordon, Daniel, Catherine, Michelle and Alexander particularly revelled in the ease of building with these blocks;
- enjoy some "afternoon tea" - I forgot it was Anzac Day and that many shops were closed that morning but thankfully, others did not and they fed us all.
As host of this lovely day can I say that all of the above was achieved as the following photos will show.

Brilliant!... if I may say so. We demonstrated construction techniques, measuring techniques for site designing, intensive planting of Max's slot garden bed and shared a lot of information and gossip. Thank you to all who attended.
