The Naples Coalition seeks to maintain and
protect the rural character of the 485 acre Naples property (also known as
Santa Barbara Ranch) on the Gaviota Coast. Despite zoning for agricultural
space with 100 acre minimum parcels, the County recognized an 1888
"antiquated subdivision” and there is a development company's
application pending to build over 50 large luxury houses on this currently
rural land.
