About  [Edit]

We have received many inquiries regarding the future plans of the festival and we are happy to announce that the hiatus is over! The UTV crew is currently hunkered down and planning our 2007 festival, which will take place once again on the traditional territory of the Tsleil-Waututh Nation in Cates Park/ Whey-ah-Wichen. Alot of things will remain the same as in the past, other things will be different. A few of our core crew have moved on to other projects, but many of us have remained committed to the project and are excited about the long term plans for UTV. Of course, the political spirit of the festival will be alive & well and we are building a program that will continue to highlight varying social justice movements & ideas through art, speakers, workshops, banners and of course, music.
