Diego and Los Angeles chapters of the Eco
Investment Club are
organizing a week-long buffet of events for investors, who are interested in meeting
with leaders within leading green industries of Southern California. In
addition, job seekers with an interest in the green revolution can
attend our "Green Collar Job" mixers!
Eco Investment
Club San Diego-- Our mission is to support the progression of the Green Movement in San Diego by promoting
Sustainable businesses, education, networking, relationship building, and Eco Investing,
which ultimately drives the Green Economy. Our objective for "Green
Leaders Week" is to effectively exhibit the most accomplished and
influential "Green Leaders" throughout the Southern
California region. Sponsorship opportunities are available,
including affordable options for small companies. Companies interested in

beginning on Wednesday July 9, 2008.
Green
Leaders Week will kick off with a bang starting with Envirepel Energy,
Inc., a clean energy company in Vista, CA and the region's "Cinderella
Fast
Company", Envision Solar International, Inc., based in La Jolla, CA. Accredited and Institutional Investors, who are interested in getting a
first-hand look inside the minds of this region's cleantech leaders, will have the
opportunity to participate in a facility tour of the fastest growing companies by
attending a series of "open houses".The Envirepel Open House kicks off on Monday, July 21st, where participants get an
insider's look into this fast moving, BioMass - Clean Energy company. Then investors can also join the intense discussion of the current state of
renewable energy and the future of green investment at the Envision Solar Open
House on Tuseday the 22nd.
Job seekers will get a much needed "Green Collar Job" mixer in Hollywood, CA on Wednesday the 23rd and will feature Jan Schalkwijk, Principal of JPS Global Investments. A second "Green Collar Job" mixer is
planned for Thursday the 24th and co-organized with Green Drinks San
Diego in Encinitas, CA. Both mixers are co-sponsored by Bright Green
Talent, an executive search firm that identifies and places environmental leaders in organizations worldwide.
Then to end the week with suspense... On Friday,
July 25th, Eco Investment
Club San Diego will host its highly anticipated GreenMeet titled,
"LEED: Is It Worth It?" A comprehensive, insightful, and controversial
panel discussion featuring Keith Schneringer, President of USGBC-San
Diego Chapter, and real estate developers, who have faced adversity
with US Green Building Council's LEED Certification. Philip J. Bona,
Assistant Vice President of Architecture and Planning of the Centre
City Development Corp, is the Keynote Speaker and closing remarks will
be made by David Gottfried, CEO of Regenerative Ventures (via teleconference), and Founder of US Green
Building Council and the World Green Building Council! Other participating panelists will be announced by Friday, July 11th.

Week with media sponsor InvestorIdeas.com in a webinar format, and has also teamed up with media sponsor
Green Money Journal to deliver a quality launch for the first annual,
"Green Leaders Week"!
