About  [Edit]

Journey to Mexico

Mid July to Early September, 2008

Our first big trip is coming up soon!  We will load the camper on the Dodge and head down Baja California to our first stop of San Juanico and its famous right-hand sandbars.  We will construct a ferro-cement rainwater tank and some composting toilets.  Other projects could include a mural, paper making, and art from scrap.

We will then continue down Baja stopping near Todos Santos, and then we will take the ferry over to the Mainland.  Other stops may include Sayulita, La Ticla, Pascuales, and eventually Barra de la Cruz in Oaxaca.  We plan on spending several weeks in Southern Oaxaca, assessing community needs.  We will establish contacts in all of these places in order to return for more projects next summer.

We welcome any and all support; be it financial, technical, or moral.  We are looking for donations of items like clothing and surf stuff (boards?) to distribute along the way.

Good Vibes!
