Dr. Peter Raven is one of the most acclaimed scientists in Missouri history and one of the world’s leading botanists and advocates of conservation and biodiversity, will deliver the keynote address on Dec. 2, 2009. Dr. Raven is the director of the Missouri Botanical Garden and Chairman of the National Geographic Society’s Committee for Research and Exploration.
