About [Edit]
"Where once nations depended on sovereignty alone to secure their destinies, today they depend on one another. In a world where the poverty of some imperils the wealth of others, none are safer than the least safe. Interdependence is not a strategy of idealists, but a realistic necessity." - Dr. Benjamin Barber
CivWorld is pleased to announce that the 6th annual Interdependence Day celebration and forum will be held in Brussels, Belgium, September 10-12th 2008. This year we will be hosted by our friends Guy Gypens the new artistic director of the Kaai Theatre, and famed choreographer Anna Teresa de Keersmaeker, as well as by colleagues from the European Parliament.
