HOW IT WORKS:

Joining the dialog will be as easy as sending and receiving emails. All you need is an internet accessible computer, anywhere in the world, and all you have to do is commit any 2-hour block of time on either June 2 or 3, convenient for you. Just log in when you are ready. Sessions in small groups will run from 4:00 am U.S. Eastern Time to 2:00 am Eastern Time, beginning on the hour, both days.

For more information on the special Synanim technology we will be using to put people into interactive small groups, click here. Each small group will create a working document in real time together and select a leader to be part of further rounds of dialog. The final round will create a document for the conference.

TO PREPARE:

Visit the Envision website again on May 26 to look at some documents already created, then get ready to create a new one. On June 1, look for login and project directions in your email inbox (be sure you type your email address correctly when you register!). Also, right now, tell your spam filter to take messages from synanim@synanim.com and from rita@faithvoices.com. Everyone will be asked to answer questions such as:

• What key values ground your gospel-centered faith?
• What is happening in the world today that your faith calls you to address?
• What are the most important issues Christians must work for in the next ten years to live out our faith for the common good?
