All around the world, a movement is building to take on the climate c ...learn more

These meetings were held monthly averaging about 8 people. However, we really didn't have enough formal decision making to warrant the travel and time so at our last meeting in December we decided to make them quarterly to be held 2 or 3 weeks before our Seasonal Gatherings. We will post the dates and of course we welcome any further suggestions.

Our intention is to have members from all three "altitude/climate" levels ie the Lower Blue Mountains, the Mid Blue Mountains and the Upper Blue Mountains. The Upper BM is well represented from Blackheath and Katoomba, we have 2 members living in the Mid BM but we are seeking Lower BM members to attend.

No obligations, just opportunities for you to locate information or participate in the changes that will occur during our decades long "energy descent" ie adjustments to life without the abundance of oil and its global influence. Sue Girard lent me a DVD by David Holmgren Relocalilsation How Peak Oil Can Lead to Permaculture. I highly recommend it.
