About

Writer, director, producer and editor Bruce Barrett delivers his debut film “The Billboard From Bethlehem,” a stunning and timely documentary about the owner of an American billboard company who engages former Israeli soldiers and Palestinian resistance fighters .

The billboard saga becomes the hope manifest and the narrative thread of the film. As the stories are told by 'The Combatants for Peace', the film guides us through the conflict, weaving facts, images, and the personal reflections by Israeli and Palestinian resistance fighters with the engaging visual talisman of a hundred children and peace warriors from opposite sides of a bitter conflict hand painting a fifty foot peace mural in the West Bank of Palestine.

The giant “peace mural” billboard returns to the US to visit a mosque, a synagogue, and a church before finally being posted on a busy American highway.
